I agree-- that's the thing about market peaches. Whenever we go to the Trionfale market here in Rome, we wind up buying more than we anticipated, and then suddenly you're in a race against time. What a beautiful solution you found!
Yes they are a bit like avocados - they take a while to ripen and then when they finally do, you have about 30 minutes to consume them before they go bad! 😁
